This was a new format of online festival - a chance to pick and choose.
It was also a chance fo collaboration with the Creative Ports project, on the roster of Interreg Baltic Sea Region.
Mesh Festival was a fresh way to throw a digital conference which is both a show case for creators with a "linear tv", curated program, new formats of how to participate and so on. Fresh and new! A brand new – free – online festival on creative work, design and regenerative thinking. The MESH program was a pot-pourri of formats, never demanding a full day's attention!
The participants got to mix and match; a way of cherry picking according to interests.
Create Converge partner, Media Evolution, planned this new online conference where there was an opportunity to test new technology and methods of delivery and engagement. This resulted in a major event being Mesh Festival for 4 days in November 2020.
Several hundred people attended the conference and new contacts were made. The response from the participants was highly positive and generated strong interest in future involvement.
The majority of the companies involved come from the CC/ME network/community (350+ companies), businesses from the extended community and their contacts, clients and partners. The majority had a great interest to learn more about innovation, how to collaborate in new ways with new partners in other areas and fields than their own.
So through seminars and digital webinars we were able to connect people and companies that had not previously collaborated or cooperated.
The full programme included networking event, Lunch with New Friends, DDDD - Discover, Define and Design with Data and Designing the Natural World.
You can take a look at the even on Mesh TV.
